Xgimi has unveiled its latest 4K projector – the Z9X, combining mobility, smart functionality, and high-end image quality in an exceptionally slim design. The device weighs just 1.5 kg, measures 7.8 cm thick, and comes in an elegant Mocha Brown finish.

The standout feature of the Z9X is its built-in gimbal, allowing up to 150 degrees of tilt adjustment. This means the projector can be placed almost anywhere – on a table, shelf, or even projecting onto the ceiling – without needing a tripod or wall mount.

Premium-class picture quality
At the heart of the system lies a 0.39-inch DMD chip delivering native 4K resolution. The new Qualas 32 laser light engine provides 1300 CVIA lumens of brightness and a 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, resulting in crisp and vivid visuals. The 10-layer optical lens with LSR coating reduces reflections and color fringing, while the optical zoom (0.98–1.3:1) makes it easy to fit any space.

The projector supports HDR10, HLG, and HDR Vivid, and combined with AI-based image processing – AI-HDR, AI-PQ, and AI-SR – it delivers outstanding depth and realism. With 110% BT.2020 color gamut coverage and ΔE < 1 accuracy, it offers truly professional-grade visuals.

A bionic color algorithm, inspired by the human eye and developed with professional cinematographers, provides finely tuned modes for movies, documentaries, and live content.

Performance and gaming without lag
Powered by the MT9681 flagship chipset and G57-MC1 GPU, alongside 3 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, the Z9X ensures smooth performance and supports 1080p gaming at 240 Hz with VRR and ALLM, minimizing latency and screen tearing.

Harman Kardon sound and smart features
Audio comes from dual 7 W speakers tuned by Harman Kardon, with Dolby Audio and DTS:X support. The Z9X runs on Xgimi AI OS, offering voice control via Xiao Ai and seamless integration with the Mi Home ecosystem.

Convenience features include autofocus, keystone correction, screen alignment, obstacle avoidance, and wall-color detection – all designed to achieve a perfect image automatically.

Modern connectivity and quiet operation
The projector includes two HDMI ports (one eARC), USB 3.0 and 2.0, plus Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. It operates quietly (below 28 dB) and efficiently.
