XGIMI has introduced the AURA 3 series, comprising two Ultra Short Throw laser projectors – AURA 3 Max and AURA 3 Pro. Both models offer 4K UHD, RGB Triple Laser and 4K 120 Hz refresh rate, combining a large image with technologies found in modern TVs.

The series was presented at IFA 2026 in Berlin and is positioned as a Laser TV solution designed for movies, sports, gaming and everyday entertainment.

4K 120 Hz and RGB Triple Laser

The combination of 4K UHD and 120 Hz delivers a detailed and smooth image, appreciated by both movie enthusiasts and gamers. Both projectors use RGB Triple Laser, providing vivid colors and a wide color gamut.

Image processing is handled by the X-VISION AI Image Processor, supported by Dual Dynamic Iris + DBLE. XGIMI has also implemented technologies designed to significantly reduce the rainbow effect (RBE). Both models support IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision.

AURA 3 Max and AURA 3 Pro

AURA 3 Max is the flagship model in the series. It offers 5700 ISO lumens and 8000:1 native contrast, providing higher brightness and contrast than the Pro version.

AURA 3 Pro delivers 4100 ISO lumens and 7000:1 native contrast, while retaining the key technologies of the Max model, including RGB Triple Laser, 4K 120 Hz, X-VISION AI, Dual Dynamic Iris + DBLE, IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision.

Ultra Short Throw – a large image from a short distance

Both models use an Ultra Short Throw design. Thanks to the very short throw ratio, the projector can be placed close to the wall or screen.

This allows the AURA 3 to be placed on a TV cabinet while delivering a very large image with a level of convenience similar to a television. The series is designed for large screen sizes and home entertainment.
