Valerion VisionMaster & StreamMaster Series – comparison of five models

The VisionMaster series consists of 4K projectors based on RGB triple-laser technology, a shared smart platform (Google TV), and a wide, accurate color gamut. The models differ mainly in brightness, black level control, optics, and installation flexibility.

1. Valerion StreamMaster Plus

Position: entry-level model
Brightness: 1650 ISO lumens
Zoom: fixed 1.2:1
Contrast: 10,000:1
Use case: everyday movie and series watching, streaming

This is the most basic model in the lineup. Its brightness and optics are sufficient for casual viewing, especially in a darkened room. It works best with content that does not rely heavily on very dark scenes, but it does not offer advanced image control features.

2. Valerion StreamMaster Plus 2

Position: upgrade over Plus
Brightness: 2000 ISO lumens
Zoom: fixed 1.2:1
Contrast: 10,000:1

Plus 2 is essentially a brighter version of the Plus. The increased brightness improves viewing comfort in rooms with mixed lighting and on larger screens. The lack of optical zoom and advanced image tools keeps it in the lifestyle category, though it is more versatile than the base model.

3. Valerion VisionMaster Pro

Position: first step into home cinema
Brightness: 2500 ISO lumens
Zoom: 0.9–1.5:1
Contrast: 15,000:1

Pro introduces optical zoom, allowing easier image size adjustment without quality loss. Higher brightness and improved contrast compared to the Plus models make it better suited for larger screens and HDR content.

4. Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2

Position: refinement of Pro
Brightness: 3000 ISO lumens
Zoom: 0.9–1.5:1
Contrast: 15,000:1

The key upgrade over Pro is higher brightness, resulting in stronger HDR impact and better performance on larger screens. Optics and contrast remain very similar, so the difference is mainly visible in image punch and perceived dynamic range.

5. Valerion VisionMaster Max

Position: flagship model
Brightness: 3500 ISO lumens
Zoom: 0.9–1.5:1 (expandable)
Contrast: 50,000:1 (with EBL)
Lens shift: ±105%
Dynamic IRIS: yes

Max is the only model featuring dynamic IRIS and full optical lens shift, offering the highest installation flexibility and the most precise control over brightness and black levels. The combination of advanced EBL processing and higher light output delivers deeper blacks and more detailed dark scenes than the lower models.

Key differences explained

Brightness
Higher brightness improves HDR performance and enables larger screen sizes. Pro 2 and Max represent a clear step up compared to Plus and Plus 2.

Optics
Pro models and above offer a 0.9–1.5:1 zoom, making placement more flexible. Only Max adds dynamic IRIS and wide lens shift (±105%), allowing precise optical alignment without heavy digital correction.

Contrast and HDR
All models use the EBL™ black enhancement algorithm, but Max fully exploits it through higher brightness, IRIS control, and more advanced optics.

Which one to choose?

Plus / Plus 2 – for casual viewing, series, less demanding content, and simple setups.
Pro – a clear step into home cinema with optical zoom and solid HDR performance.
Pro 2 – for users who want higher brightness and a more impactful image at a still reasonable price.
Max – for those prioritizing installation flexibility, the best image control, and maximum brightness and contrast.
