The Panasonic PT-RQ45K sets a new benchmark in ultra-bright 4K projection.
This model is Panasonic’s first projector in the 40,000-lumen class and is scheduled for release in Q3 2026. It is designed for rental and staging professionals, large venues, and outdoor projection mapping where extreme brightness is essential.

Delivering 40,000 lumens in the same chassis is one of the PT-RQ45K’s key advantages.
Compared to the earlier RQ35K, it provides 10,000 additional lumens while keeping identical dimensions. This allows existing frames, flight cases, and lenses to be reused, significantly reducing upgrade costs.

At its core is a 3-chip DLP system with Quad Pixel Drive.
Three 0.96-inch DLP chips with 1920×1200 resolution combine to produce a 4K image at 3840×2400. The multi-laser light source, featuring two blue and one red laser, ensures high color accuracy and long-term image stability.

The PT-RQ45K is built for demanding operating environments.
Protected PCBs, an advanced cooling system, and redundant signal inputs increase reliability. Panasonic’s Dynamic Digital Control stabilizes the red laser to maintain consistent color performance over time.
Extensive installation and system integration features complete the package.
The projector supports 360-degree installation, 24/7 operation, 4K signal input, and refresh rates up to 240 Hz at 1080p. A built-in 5-inch LCD screen simplifies setup and monitoring, while Intel SDM support enables flexible system expansion.
