Optoma UHR90DV – New Flagship Home Theater Projector
Optoma has unveiled its most advanced home theater projector yet – the UHR90DV. This is the brand’s first model with an RGB triple-laser light source, aimed at the most demanding users.
Cinema Certifications and Filmmaker Mode
The projector features dual Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced certification, along with HDR10+ support and Filmmaker Mode, which disables unnecessary image processing. This ensures visuals are as close as possible to the director’s intent.
Color and Brightness
With its RGB triple-laser system, the UHR90DV covers 96% of the BT.2020 color space and 98% of DCI-P3, matching cinema production standards. Brightness reaches 5,000 ISO lumens, and it offers a dynamic contrast of 4,500,000:1, making it suitable even for rooms that aren’t fully dark.
Flexible Installation
The projector features motorized zoom (1.6x), vertical and horizontal lens shift, and lens memory for up to five profiles. This allows screens from 80 to 300 inches without complicated setup adjustments.
Gaming-Ready
With ALLM and an input lag of 8.5 ms at 1080p/240 Hz, the UHR90DV is ideal not only for movies but also for fast-paced gaming.
Longevity and Sustainability
The laser light source lasts up to 30,000 hours in Eco mode, and the chassis is partially made from PCR materials. Packaging is FSC-certified, reflecting Optoma’s commitment to reducing environmental impact.
Summary
The Optoma UHR90DV combines triple-laser RGB technology, cinema certifications, high brightness, and wide color coverage with flexible installation and low gaming latency. This is a projector designed for private home theaters at the highest level, with eARC support for high-quality audio connectivity.
