LG surprises with projectors at CES 2025 – versatility and compactness redefined

At this year's CES 2025, LG introduced two remarkable projectors that stand out in both functionality and design. The PF600U and CineBeam S models cater to users seeking innovative, compact, and aesthetic solutions for their homes.

LG PF600U: lamp, projector, and speaker in one

The LG PF600U is a multifunctional 3-in-1 device that at first glance looks like a stylish floor lamp. This makes it a perfect fit for interior decor. However, this seemingly simple design hides far more capabilities.

The PF600U serves as:

  • A projector: Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), 300 ANSI lumens brightness, and a 150,000:1 contrast ratio allow for images ranging from 30 to 120 inches. Its 110-degree adjustable head lets users easily modify the projection angle.

  • A Bluetooth speaker: Built-in stereo speakers with passive radiators offer rich, spatial sound.

  • An LED lamp: It features nine colors and five brightness levels, adjustable to suit any mood or occasion.

An added bonus is the webOS system, familiar from LG TVs, which provides access to popular streaming platforms like Netflix and YouTube. The device weighs 7.5 kg, making it easy to move between rooms.

CineBeam S: compact 4K projector

The second innovation is the LG CineBeam S, the smallest 4K UST (Ultra Short Throw) projector in the company’s history. Its compact design (110 x 160 x 160 mm, weighing 2.5 kg) and minimalist look make it a perfect fit for modern interiors.

The CineBeam S offers:

  • 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) and 500 ANSI lumens brightness.

  • Ultra Short Throw technology: Place it just 25 cm from a wall to display images ranging from 40 to 100 inches.

  • Vibrant colors: With 154% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, the projector delivers highly realistic images.

  • Built-in Dolby Atmos sound: A stereo system with Dolby Atmos enhances the audiovisual experience.

Like the PF600U, the CineBeam S runs on the webOS system, providing easy access to streaming platforms and features like automatic screen adjustment and wall color compensation.

The LG PF600U and CineBeam S demonstrate that projectors can be not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly. By introducing these models, LG emphasizes versatility and design to meet the contemporary needs of users.
