Formovie’s Xming division, known for the 1080p Page One model, is introducing a new, user-friendly portable projector called the Episode One. This new model features a customized, fully-enclosed light engine with 1080p resolution. It includes features such as omni-directional auto keystone, intelligent obstacle avoidance, and auto focus, making it very easy to set up.

While its 1500:1 contrast ratio doesn’t place it among the top projectors, its budget-friendly $300 price tag makes it a great deal. Unlike TVs under $500, which can’t match the Episode One’s 120-inch maximum screen size, this projector is also highly portable, although it doesn’t offer 4K resolution.

Weighing just 2.8 pounds, the Xming Episode One is much lighter than most TVs, which weigh between 20 and 40 pounds. It also minimizes noise, enhancing the viewing experience with limited sound interference and low power consumption.

With Dolby audio support, you don’t need a high-end soundbar for good sound quality. Additionally, the HDMI 2.1 port makes it easy to connect for gaming. The Episode One uses Google TV for content and apps, eliminating the need for additional devices like an Amazon Fire Stick. This is a significant improvement over other projectors, which often have limited interfaces.

Formovie is renowned for its powerful projectors, such as the Formovie Theater, which boasts 2,800 lumens and ALPD 4.0 RGB+ technology for excellent color accuracy. While the Theater model costs $3,500, the Episode One is nearly 10 times cheaper and offers great value for its price.
