It is the only 4K home cinema projector that achieves 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy, making it a must-have for home theater enthusiasts.

The W5800 includes individual factory calibration reports that ensure 100% Rec. 709 Delta E<2 and an optimized DCI-P3 color table, providing authentic Hollywood colors. The projector's HDR-Pro technology improves dynamic contrast, utilizing Blue Laser Dimming and Dynamic Black Technology to enhance light and dark scenes in HDR mode. The Local Contrast Enhancer adjusts gamma for each scene, while HDR10+ technology optimizes each frame using dynamic metadata.

Houston Wei, senior director of BenQ North America, highlighted, "The W5800 embodies our CinematicColor technology, ensuring accurate color reproduction as intended. BenQ is excited to offer an exceptional experience by creating an immersive and captivating viewing for our users with a projector that achieves 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut using CinematicColor and HDR-PRO technologies."

This projector supports screens up to 200 inches, providing a premium home theater experience. The HDR brightness function allows users to adjust brightness levels according to the projection size. The W5800 also features Filmmaker Mode to maintain the original image quality of high-definition sources in HDR mode.

The W5800 supports short throw projection, displaying a 150-inch screen from just 16.6 feet away with its 1.6x zoom. It also offers a 2D lens shift (vertical ±50% and horizontal ±21%) to adjust the projector without losing visual resolution.
