Epson Lifestudio Grand EH-LS970 – cinematic 4K image right next to the wall
Epson EH-LS970 is a flagship ultra-short-throw projector designed as a true alternative to large TVs. It delivers a 4K UHD image, very high 4,000-lumen brightness, and a form factor that can be placed directly next to the wall – with no ceiling mount, no drilling, and no visual clutter in the living space.
It is built for everyday viewing of films, series and sports on a truly large screen.

Large, detailed 4K image with high brightness
The projector displays content in 4K UHD resolution (3840 × 2160), offering high detail and clarity even on very large screen sizes. Thanks to 3LCD technology, colours remain natural and stable, and the image is free from the flicker often associated with single-chip projection systems.
With 4,000 lumens of brightness, the EH-LS970 performs well not only in dark rooms but also in bright living spaces with ambient daylight. A declared dynamic contrast ratio of up to 5,000,000:1 enhances depth and visibility in darker scenes.

Ultra-short throw 0.16:1 – a projector instead of a TV
With an ultra-short throw ratio of 0.16:1, the Epson EH-LS970 can be positioned just a few centimetres from the wall or screen while producing an image of up to 150 inches. The projector fits perfectly on a low TV cabinet, exactly where a traditional television would normally stand.
This setup keeps installation simple and the room clean, without long cables or ceiling mounts.
Automatic setup and intelligent image optimisation
The EH-LS970 is designed for ease of use. The Epson Setting Assistant app allows fast image setup using a smartphone camera, eliminating the need for time-consuming manual adjustments.
The projector automatically adapts image parameters to lighting conditions and displayed content, ensuring consistent image quality without constant user intervention.
Google TV, Netflix and Bose sound
Powered by Google TV, the projector provides direct access to popular streaming services, including Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video. No external media players are required – everything works straight out of the box.
Audio is handled by a built-in speaker system designed by Bose, delivering clear, room-filling sound suitable for everyday movie and TV viewing without additional speakers.
Quiet operation, gaming support and long lifespan
The EH-LS970 offers excellent acoustic performance – in quiet mode, noise levels drop to around 18 dB, making the projector barely noticeable during use.
Gamers will appreciate ALLM support and low input lag (below 20 ms), ensuring responsive gameplay on consoles. The laser light source is rated for up to 20,000 hours of operation, and the projector is covered by a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Availability
The Epson Lifestudio Grand EH-LS970 will be available in Europe in April 2026. Pricing will be announced at a later date.
