Tencent has officially unveiled its latest projector, the Aurora P2S Projector, which will be exclusively available in the Chinese market for the time being at a price of 3599 yuan ($506). The launch is set for March 7th. This latest offering from Tencent brings significant enhancements and features aimed at enriching the viewing experience for users.

The Aurora P2S boasts a brightness of 700 CVIA lumens, ensuring clear and vibrant images even in various lighting conditions. It offers true 1080P full HD resolution, powered by the advanced O-VISION 2.0 engine. This technology, combined with HDR10+ and HLG decoding, and MEMC motion interpolation, promises a cinematic visual experience.

Equipped with TOF laser sensors and CMOS HD cameras, this intelligent projector utilizes smart recognition algorithms for quick and precise calibration, enhancing usability and setup convenience. Additionally, it offers a range of smart features such as Auto Focus, trapezoid correction, obstacle avoidance, and eye protection, making it a versatile choice for both home and professional use.

Operating on Android 9.0, it supports various wireless transmission protocols and is based on DLP technology. It features a high-transmission coated glass lens and is compatible with 2K/4K resolutions. The recommended screen size ranges from 60 to 120 inches.

The Aurora P2S is powered by the Amlogic T982 chip, supported by 4GB DDR4 RAM and 32GB eMMC storage. Audio quality is not compromised, with dual 10W high-fidelity speakers housed in a 300cc sound chamber. The sound system supports Dolby & DTS dual audio effects, precisely tuned by Harman's acoustic experts, ensuring an immersive auditory experience.

Designed for gaming and streaming, it offers SPDIF, HDMI 2.1, USB, LAN, and DC ports, with a remarkable 48Gbps transmission bandwidth for fast connectivity, a low latency gaming mode of 20ms, and access to Tencent Cloud Gaming and Aurora TV for a variety of entertainment options. Engineered for quiet operation with a noise level of ≤24dB, it also supports a wide range of interfaces for connectivity and expansion.
