The Ultimea Apollo P50 Projector is now available for sale, with versions available for the US, EU, UK, Canada, and Japan. This model shares many similarities with the Apollo P60, which was introduced to the market last year. Both feature a native 1080p resolution, support HDR10, 4K decoding, and a contrast ratio of 1,500:1.
While the P50 uses an LED light source like its predecessor, its maximum brightness is slightly lower - 800 ANSI lumens compared to 900 ANSI lumens in the P60. The new model has a 1.4:1 throw ratio and a maximum recommended image size of 120 inches (~305 cm). You can use features such as autofocus, keystone correction, and intelligent screen adjustment to quickly refine the picture. The P50 features a built-in pair of 10W speakers with Dolby Audio support and 1+16GB memory; in comparison, the P60 has 15W speakers and 1+32GB memory. The Netflix-certified device runs on the Linux OS, providing access to popular apps like Prime Video and YouTube. Other features include support for Miracast and DLNA wireless screen mirroring, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Additionally, ports on the device include USB 2.0, HDMI, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
